In 2020, we completed the new construction of the Ptáček Business and Administrative Centre in Prague 9. Behind the distinctive façade of the modern building, there are glazed fireproof structures.
The glazed fire protection structures are located throughout the building. The order included an almost complete cross-section of the range of fire protection structures that our company manufactures and supplies. In addition to fixed glazed walls, there were also glass pivot door assemblies and sliding automatic fire doors. The door construction includes door closers with closing coordination, as well as access system elements. All fire-resistant glass was manufactured using hydrogel filling technology. Thanks to this solution, the vision through the glass is not disturbed and its appearance does not differ from conventional insulating glass. The continuous height of the glass panels can be up to 4,200 mm (for fire resistance EI 30). In the case of staircases, the partitions meet the requirements for fall-prevention structures. The same design detail of aluminium profile anchoring has also been used for non-combustible all-glass structures with a balustrade function. The glazing in ESG / VSG 8.8.2 with polished edge is bonded with clear tape in the interglass joints.
