Nordica Ostrava - entrance portal

The delivery of a new entrance for the Nordica office building in the centre of Ostrava is definitely not in the category of 'large projects'.

With regard to the assignment, however, it can be described as a project requiring a complex solution for security, comfort and design. Our delivery included the dismantling of the original structures and the manufacture and installation of a new structure, including automatic escape doors, lighting and a heat shield.

We designed a solution for the client for all stages of the delivery. This ranged from the dismantling of the original structures, the new entrance structure including equipment, the modification of the associated construction details to the method of installation into the existing glazed façade.

During the implementation, we responded promptly to the client's additional requirements for the appearance and functionality of the new entrance. In the final stage, a complete painting of the supporting structure was carried out to cover the structural joints.
