The reconstruction of Hotel Slovakia in the centre of the spa town of Trenčianske Teplice began in spring 2020 and lasted until March 2021.
The overall scope of our delivery included the cladding of the individual buildings of the Slovakia Hotel itself and the newly built connecting neck to the neighbouring hotel building. The Bond cassette façade is suspended from a Hilti support grid. The thermal insulation has a laminated top layer, which means that it does not need to be covered with additional diffusion foil. The modernisation of the cladding, which includes new glazing in addition to the bond façade, gives the building a fresh look. The functional connection to the neighbouring Krym Hotel is formed by the modern design of the connecting neck, where the bond cladding is complemented by glazed facade structures. The colour scheme follows the facade elements of the Krym Hotel. A separate part of the project is the façade of the swimming pool and wellness area. For this building, bond cassettes were manufactured and curved to the required radius, as well as attic sheets and associated plumbing elements. Along with the bond cassettes, we also supplied bonded ceramic cladding around the entrance, associated plumbing elements and window sills. The total cladding area of the building was approximately 2,000 m2.
